You have to realize the concept of burying a song permanently is completely foreign to me.
As it just so happens Song A, is the first song I’ve ever written for a band. It’s also that exact reason why we’re axing it.
At the time, it was a fun little song about my insecurities and fears jazzed up with punk chords and over indulgent guitar/drum solos.
It made sense at the time but at some point it became tedious. We all outgrew it and quite frankly realized we have better material.
Every once in a while we might play it live but until that time, it’s primarily going to stay retired.
